Kara has been an incredible help to my son and our family in managing his sensory processing disorder. She was the first professional that was immediately able to pinpoint his areas of need and initiate a plan that has lead to success.  Kara is caring, kind, and fun and my son has built a wonderful rapport with her. He enjoys his time with Kara and takes pride in his new skills.  She has given him so much confidence and he is a happier child.  Kara also provides excellent recommendations and strategies to parents.  She is creative, knowledgable in her field, and passionate about what she does.  As a parent and a professional in the pediatric field, I know my son is working with the very best.

Kirstyn has been absolutely amazing with my eight year old daughter who has Developmental Coordination Disorder.  We cannot speak highly enough about her.  Kirstyn has picked up on things no previous therapist did and the progress my daughter has made in the year she has been with Kirstyn has been monumental.  My daughter says Kirstyn is her favorite OT ever!  Kirstyn is kind, patient, and thorough.  She comes up with brilliant new games each week.  My husband and I feel so very fortunate to have such an amazing occupational therapist help our daughter as she progresses through life.

We can’t say enough good things about the entire team at Moving Kids Forward Therapy. They are kind, gentle, non-judgmental, and exceptionally. thorough. Our 3 year old and 8 year old both attend weekly sessions at MKFT.  Kara is so patient with our feisty 3 year old. The progress she has made in fine and gross motor skills, as well as listening is amazing. Kara and Lindsay both work with our 8 year old ADHD, sensory processing son. They give him a lot of flexibility to incorporate his own ideas into his sessions to validate him and help make it fun and interesting for him.
